Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Leaves PS Plus Extra on 20th December

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be removed from PS Plus Extra next month, on the 20th December, 2022. This realisation comes straight from the game’s PlayStation Store page, which now features the aforementioned Extra expiry date.

It’s a relatively significant removal, given that Valhalla has been highlighted as a key game for the service ever since it was officially announced earlier in the year. The open world title also appears in almost all of the tier’s marketing material, both on and off the PlayStation Store itself.

Just to be clear, when Assassin’s Creed Valhalla leaves the PS Plus Extra catalogue next month, subscribers will no longer be able to download or play it. If you want to get stuck into the Norse adventure, you’ll have to buy a copy — but at least it’s going cheap these days.

It’s also worth noting that Valhalla is a massive game, and so there’s a good chance that a lot of PS Plus Extra users will be midway through a run. If you happen to be in that position, you’ve got just under a month to finish things off.
