‘Evil Dead: The Game’ – Premium “Ash vs. Evil Dead” Outfits Arriving Ahead of Free Release on PlayStation Plus

The next big DLC update for Evil Dead: The Game is dropping tomorrow, Thursday, February 2, bringing with it new premium outfits for demons and survivors. Even better? The DLC update arrives ahead of the game’s inclusion in PlayStation Plus games for February 2023.

Sony announced games OlliOlli World (PS4 and PS5), Mafia: Definitive Edition (PS4), Evil Dead: The Game (PS4 and PS5), and Destiny 2: Beyond Light (PS4 and PS5) as part of the PlayStation Plus offerings for subscribers, available at no cost starting February 7, 2023.

As for the brand new outfits, Saber Interactive teased new “Party Going” Premium Outfits from “Ash vs. Evil Dead” on Twitter. Check out the teaser below.

The outfits are inspired by the series’ season two opener, which saw Ash (Bruce Campbell) partying it up in dream city Jacksonville, Florida, much to the chagrin of pals Pablo (Ray Santiago) and Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo).

The “Ash vs. Evil Dead” inspired DLC update will also include a new Splatter Royale game mode and introduce Ruby Knowby as a playable survivor.

Boss Team Games and Saber Interactive’s Evil Dead: The Game features single-player and co-op gameplay, promising to be the ultimate Evil Dead experience in the world of video games. Several characters from the movies and TV series are playable in the game at launch, along with four different versions of Deadite-slaying horror hero Ash Williams.

In the game, “Work together as a team of four survivors, exploring, looting, crafting, managing your fear, and finding key artifacts to seal the breach between worlds. Or take control of the powerful Kandarian Demon to hunt Ash and his friends while possessing Deadites, the environment, and even the survivors themselves as you seek to swallow their souls.”

Evil Dead: The Game is currently available on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and the Xbox Series.
