Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition, which is packed with features such as a New Game Plus and new performance modes, is coming to Xbox Series X|S next month, and best of all, it will be a free upgrade for all existing owners.
Wanna see Wang in 4K? Perhaps you prefer your Wang performing at a buttery-smooth and stable 60fps? Well, soon you’ll have the option of both! Shadow Warrior 3 is getting a Definitive Edition for Xbox Series X|S that includes new performance options and several new gameplay modes. Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition launches for Xbox Series X|S on February 16th, and if you already own the game, you’ll get the Definitive Edition for free via an update.

Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition adds a Survival Mode, which consists of three new battle arenas that offer some new weapon skins to unlock. It also brings New Game Plus, Hardcore difficulty, and Hero mode, which shortens Lo Wang’s life to a limited number of respawns, with “performing spectacular finishers” being the only way you can earn more. On Xbox Series X|S, there are “re-tuned performance modes,” allowing you to choose between a 60fps mode or 4K/30fps.
Last month, rumours suggested Shadow Warrior 3 that could be coming to Game Pass after notifications began popping up on users’ phones. While nothing has materialised yet, perhaps we could see Shadow Warrior 3 and Wang appear in your Game Pass library later this month when the Definitive Edition arrives.
