If you’ve been shopping around for a new gaming monitor, we’ve got you covered. Today you can pick up a 34″ Dell S3422DWG ultra-wide gaming monitor for under $400. If you game on a laptop, you should seriously consider the 38″ LG 38WN95C-W gaming monitor with Thunderbolt 3. It’s not cheap, but it’s the best price we’ve seen so far. In other deal news, score a Kingston 1TB SSD for only $65, save $50 off an Xbox Series S console, or grab a powerful EVGA GeForce TX 3080 Ti GPU for only $899.99.
34″ Dell S3422DWG 3440×1440 Ultra-Wide Gaming Monitor for $389.99
Dell S3422DWG 34″ 3440×1440 Curved 1ms 144Hz VA Gaming Monitor
Dell has the excellent 34″ Dell S3422DWG gaming monitor for the lowest price we’ve ever seen. At its current price of $389.99, it’s $60 cheaper than what we saw last Black Friday. This monitor features a 34″ 3440×1440 ultra-wide 1800R curved VA panel with a 1ms response time, 144Hz refresh rate, 3,000:1 contrast ratio and 90% DCI-P3 color coverage. It’s not officially G-SYNC compatible, although we have personally tested it and G-SYNC does indeed run fine on this monitor (as is usually the case with most gaming monitors these days). You get a 3 year warranty and it’s eligible for Dell’s Premium Panel Exchange, which allows you to get a free panel replacement during the warranty even if only one bright pixel is found.
38″ LG 38WN95C-W 38″ 3840×1660 Monitor: A Rare Gaming-Centric Monitor with Thunderbolt 3
LG 38WN95C-W 38″ 3840×1600 Curved 1ms 144Hz G-SYNC Nano IPS Gaming Monitor with Thunderbolt 3
Amazon has the massive 38″ LG 38WN95C-W gaming monitor for $1166.99, a 27% price drop from its $1699 MSRP. Although not labelled as an “UltraGear”, which is LG’s standard lineup of gaming monitors, the LG 38WN95C-W has what it takes to rival even the highest end of the UltraGear lineup. It boasts a 38″ 3840×1660 curved display that utilizes a gorgeous Nano IPS panel with 1ms response time, 144Hz refresh rate, and official G-SYNC compatibility. “Nano IPS” is LG’s version of QLED and it allows for better dynamic color range. It’s also VESA DisplayHDR 600 certiified.
What sets this monitor from all other “gaming” monitors is its inclusion of Thunderbolt 3. Thunderbolt 3 allows you to connect a single cable to a laptop that also has a Thunderbolt 3 port, and not only can it pass up to 4K video, it can also supply power to the laptop as well (up to 94W). It’s a feature that’s been on Apple MacBooks for a while, but is showing up in more and more in newer PC laptops as well.
Kingston A400 960GB Internal SATA SSD
Kingston A400 960GB 2.5″ Internal SATA Solid State Drive (SSD)
My how SSD prices have fallen. Amazon is offering the Kingston A400 960GB SSD for a mere $64.99 from its original $104.99 MSRP. This is the least expensive price you’ll find for a 1TB SSD from a reputable brand. It might not the fastest SSD on the block, but with rated read speeds of 500MB/s and write speeds of 450MB/s, it will still blow past any traditional hard drive. Put it in an external SSD enclosure and you’ll have a great portable SSD drive.
EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti GPU for $899.99
The RTX 3080 Ti had previously been maligned as a “poor value” compared to the RTX 3080 and that’s because of one justifiable reason: it’s MSRP of $1100. That made it a whopping $400 more expensive than an RTX 3080. At 4K resolution, an RTX 3080 Ti represents a 10% performance increase over an RTX 3080, and that certainly wasn’t worth $400.
Fast forward to today and Amazon has the EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti XC3 Ultra for $899.99. That’s only $150 more an RTX 3080 XC3 Ultra, and now the performance increase is actually quite tempting, especially if you’re gaming on a 4K monitor. If you’re running games at 4K, with an RTX 3080 you’ll be hovering at that threshold between good fps (50fps) and great fps (100+fps) in many newer games and that 10% speed bump from the RTX 3080 Ti could make all the difference in the world.
Xbox Series S for $249.99
If you want to buy the Xbox Series S console standalone without any kind of bundle, then Adorama currently has it for an unbeatable price of $249, which is $50 off MSRP. The Xbox Series S can play all the same games that the Xbox Series X can play. It’s not as powerful as the Xbox Series X, but it runs games just as well as the Xbox Series S by outputting in native 1440p and upscaling to 4K. You also have access to the entire Xbox Series X library. It’s a great budget friendly solution to access all the amazing games that are on Xbox Game Pass and, of course, it’s $250 cheaper than the Xbox Series X.
Dell G15 15″ RTX 3050 Ti Gaming Laptop $685.99
Dell G15 15″ Intel Core i5-11260H RTX 3050 Ti Gaming Laptop with 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD
The G15 is Dell’s gaming-focused, value-minded series of laptops. They cost much less than a comparable Alienware laptop, but borrow some of the same internal features like the dual-fan active cooling system, Alienware’s Command Center software for tweaking gaming settings and optimizing performance, and choice of gaming oriented GPUs.
For a laptop in the $700 price range, you won’t find a more powerful GPU than the RTX 3050 Ti . An RTX 3060 equipped laptop usually runs for about $300-$400 more. The RTX 3050 Ti is a bit more powerful than the previous generation’s GTX 1660 Ti and supports DLSS for better performance in supported games and ray tracing for better lighting effects. This card should be able to handle just about any game on the G15’s 15″ 1080p display without a hitch. It’s paired with an 11th gen Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD.
Newest Apple TV 4K 32GB and 64GB Both on Sale
The Apple TV 4K happened to be one of Amazon Prime Day’s hottest sellers. Today the price has dropped down to the same as what we saw on Prime Day. The newest Apple TV features two major upgrades. It boasts an A12 Bionic processor that boosts graphics performance, video decoding, and audio processing and delivers high frame rate HDR with Dolby Vision. It also includes a new Apple TV remote. The overall build quality is better than before, but the biggest enhancements are a 5-way clickpad, mute button, and dedicated power button that works for your TV, receiver, and Apple TV.

It features an RTX 3060 GPU with 105W max TGP and the newest generation Intel Core i7-12650H Alder Lake processor. The new Alder Lake processors are a significant performance bump over previous gen Intel CPUs. Complementing these specs are 16GB of DDR5 RAM and a 512GB SSD.

Apple’s latest 10.2″ iPad is a great option for school, work, or simply relaxing with your favorite movie, book, or streaming service. New Apple AirPods Pro for $179.99
New MagSafe Model
Apple AirPods Pro Noise-Cancelling Earbuds
The current generation Apple AirPods Pro is one of the best sounding “truly wireless” earbuds you’ll find, especially at this price point. “Truly wireless” earbuds have no wires whatsoever; even the earbuds aren’t hardwired to each other. In addition to the excellent sound quality, the AirPods Pro is the only AirPods with active noise cancelling technology. That, combined with the inherent nature of in-ear earbuds, means that the AirPods Pro will provide better noise isolation than over-ear headphones like the Bose QuietComfort or the Sony WH1000XM5. If you’re thinking of getting a pair of new AirPods, we highly recommend jumping on this particular model.

The expansion pack #1 rasies the limit to 70lbs and the expansion pack #2 raises it further to 90lbs. These sell out very quickly at Woot so if you’ve been eyeing a pair, you better not hesitate. Woot is owned by Amazon, so you can sign in with your Amazon Prime account to get free shipping.
Sony ZX Series Wired On-Ear Headphones for $10
If you need a throwaway pair of headphones that nevertheless sounds good and wears comfortably, then check out these Sony ZX110 headphones. These no frills cans normally sells for $20, but Amazon has them right now for 50% off. I actually own two of these for the kids and they work great for road trips and on the airplane. They sound much better than any other sub $10 headphones I’ve tried and the swivelling earcups means they fold flat and are easy to stow away.
New Release: 48″ LG UltraGear 48GP900-B 4K HDR OLED Gaming Monitor for $1296.99
LG UltraGear 48GP900 48″ 4K (3840×2160) OLED Gaming Monitor
For those of you who love LG OLED TVs (for good reason) but don’t like the idea of using a TV for a computer monitor, there’s now an answer. LG has released its first UltraGear OLED gaming monitor. At first glance, the 48GP900 with its 48″ LG WOLED 10-bit color HDR display seems very similar to the 48″ LG C1 OLED TV. The panel is very similar, but there are some key differences. Instead of the semi glossy coating found on the OLED TV, the 48GP900 features an anti-glare low reflective coating that is undoubtedly a better fit for close up monitor usage. It also has DisplayPort connectivity and lacks the built-in Smart TV interface. It does carry over the HDMI 2.1 ports with 4K @ 120Hz compatiblity for PS5 and Xbox Series X owners, as well as VRR and G-SYNC support, but the 120Hz refresh rate can be overclocked to 138Hz when used as a PC monitor. Last and certainly least important of all, there is subtle RGB backlighting on the rear of the monitor that isn’t present on the OLED TVs. This is one of the best gaming monitors you’ll find on the market right now.

Razer Anzu Smart Glasses for $69.99 (Was $200)
Razer Anzu Smart Glasses with Interchangeable Blue Light Filtering and Polarized Sunglass Lenses and Hands-Free Calling
The Razer Anzu glasses come with two sets of interchangeable lenses; blue-light filtering lenses for indoor PC use and polarized sunglass lenses for outdoor use. Blue light filtering lenses are designed to reduce eye strain and fatigue caused by high energy blue light emitted from your computer monitor. Blue light is a melatonin suppressor, and the theory is that using your monitor at night suppresses your natural sleep cycle. If that’s true, blue light filtering lenses should help you fall asleep better, even after an intense late night gaming session. The tinted polarized lenses work much like any regular pair of sunglasses; the polarized film provides 99% UVA/UVB protection and is designed to reduce glare and eliminate potential eye damage from the sun.
Razer took an extra step and implemented wireless hands-free calling in these glasses. There’s a Bluetooth speaker and microphone embedded in the frame. A clever touch interface allows you to manipulate the controls, but it’s also voice assistant compatible. You get up to 5 hours of talk time, so you probably won’t need to charge it every day.
HP Reverb G2 VR Headset
This price has become even more attractive following the Meta Quest 2 price hike. The Reverb G2 normally sells for $599, but Walmart has it for $200 off. The Reverb G2 sports the second highest resolution of any VR headset with 2160×2160 pixels per eye (even more than the already impressive Quest 2’s 1832×1920 resolution), manual IPD adjustment, a far more robust headstrap than the Quest 2, inside-out tracking that doesn’t require external sensors, and off-ear headphones that maintain your peripheral hearing.
Roku Ultra LT 2021 4K HDR for $54.99
Walmart has the Roku Ultra LT 4K HDR streaming media player for only $55, down about 15% off its original MSRP. The Roku Ultra LT is almost identical to the $100 Ultra; the only two features it lacks are a USB port and Dolby Atmos support. It sports the same processor and memory as the Ultra, which means it excels at streaming at up to 4K HDR without a hitch. Roku still has one of the most intuitive smart TV interfaces around.
Lenovo Legion 5 Pro 16″ Intel Core i7-12700H Alder Lake RTX 3070 Gaming Laptop for $1599
Lenovo Legion 5 Pro 16″ Intel Core i7-12700 Alder Lake RTX 3070 Gaming Laptop with 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD
Walmart is offering an outstanding deal on the new Lenovo Legion 5 Pro laptop that is also equipped with the 12th generation Intel Core i7 Alder Lake CPU and RTX 3070 GPU. The RTX 3070 GPU in this gaming laptop also has a TGP rating of 140W, and it performs as well as the MSI Crosshair on paper. In real world benchmarks, the Legion 5 Pro is one of the best performing gaming laptops on the market. It also looks more like a standard laptop, so you might want to pick this over the Crosshair if you’re not into the gamer aesthetic.
ASUS ROG STRIX GeForce RTX 3080 GPU $799
The ASUS ROG STRIX model is considered by many to be the very best RTX 3080 variant on the market. It’s usually hundreds of dollars more than the 3080 FE price. That’s in large part because of the incredible cooling potential of the massive 3-slot heatsink combined with the quietest triple fan cooling you’ll find on any RTX 3080. Despite the low noise levels, the ROG STRIX offers a significantly OC’ed 1890MHz boost clock compared o the stock 1710MHz boost on the 3080 FE. This model also comes with 12GB of GDDR6X VRAM instead of the 10GB of VRAM that comes standard and most other RTX 3080 GPUs.
